I was reading an article online that I thought people would be interested in. Pew Research Center did a study on happiness and came up with some interesting results: http://pewresearch.org/social/pack.php?PackID=1
One of the gigantic assumptions of this survey, however, is that people know what happiness is - that I would debate more than any one point of this survey. Either way, pretty interesting stuff for your enjoyment...

Hey, good article. It is like you said...interesting. The happiness definition for each individual seems to play an important part too (like you also said). On the money issue, it seems so complicated to diagnose happiness with a drowning pool of statistics. I find it hard to keep my head straight just reading it. But it really is an important issue for most people...I assume. Taking that financial managment class you talked about, I find myself losing it when all of these money terms are thrown around and you are made to look like you will never make it (nervous anxiety). I can see why people gain pride in themselves when 'making' and 'managing' their money from all of the complicated process they must swim through to do so. As a follower of Christ, I know we are called to be a good stewards of our earnings, but then not allow this money issue to rule over our lives. Rather, give back to church(s) and to the needy. In one sense, just walk a fine line. Don't lose it all by living beyond your means (which may quite possibly mean giving too much) and not hoarding it all for whatever reason. Maybe it isn't just a fine line, but I have a feeling I have a lot to learn in this area. I don't want my happiness to be defined by money, but I need to recognize it as important to some degree.
